Drake walks along The Rows. The famous raised and covered walkway round Chester city. He comes down one of the staircases placed at intervals to cross Eastgate Street and go down St Werburgh Street

On the left is where it is imagined that The Orient art gallery and shop is. 

A Ming Dynasty Daybed belonging to a government dignitary. Drake sees one like this in The Orient.
